Le champ de batailleJ'ai rencontré les Necrons de Storm sur le champ de bataille. C'était court et sucré comme lutte. On a joué 1850 points, annihilation, comme un genre d'essai sur le terrain pour sa nouvelle ligue.I met the Necrons of Storm on the field of battle today. It was a sweet and short battle. Tour 1Comme c'était une liste que je ne maîtrisais pas et comme je ne connaissais absolument rien à propos des Necrons, je n'avais pas tellement d'espoir de gagner. Donc, j'ai décidé de faire une méchante ruée vers son côté de la table pour voir ce que ça donne.As it was a new list that I had never played before and as it was against an army I knew very little about, I did not have much hope of winning. I just decided to make a wild rush for his side of the board to see what havoc I could orchestrate.
J'ai bougé mes douze pouces et j'ai émis de la fumée. Storm a placé ces Monoliths comme mur pour me bloquer et a lancé dix millions tirs sur mes transports. J'ai senti un peu comme les Spartans dans 300 quand le ciel est devenu noir avec les flèches. Un de mes rhinos a éclaté mais le reste de mon armée n'était pas dérangé, sauf Bucky qui a mangé un coup et éclaté sans avoir une chance à la vie. Pauvre Bucky. Repose en paix.
I moved my 12 inches and blew smoke. Storm placed his monoliths to make a wall and block the direct route. Then he dropped about ten million shots on my transports. I felt a bit like the Spartans in 300 when the sky turned black with arrows. One of my rhinos popped but the rest of my army was left relatively unperturbed. That is, except Bucky. Tour 2Deuxième tour, mes Élus avec les meltas et mon Daemon Majeur sont arrivés. Il était carrement inutile, bloqué par le mur des Monoliths, mais la princesse daemon l'a approché en préparation d'un saut durant le troisième tour. Puisque je ne pouvais pas surmonter le mur, j'ai décidé de le contourner avec mon Land Raider et mon autre escouade de PMs en rhino. Dès que je suis venu autour du coin avec mes transports, j'ai mangé les tirs des destroyers, mais ils n'ont pas réussi à arrêter mon avance. C'était un moment critique pour sécuriser ma victoire. S'il avait réussi à m'arrêter, et que mon transport avait éclaté, j'aurais trouvé difficile de tuer ces destroyers. Finalement mes Élus sont stationnés à côté des scarabs.
My chosen with meltas squad arrived as well as my Greater Daemon. He was rather useless since he was blocked by the wall of monoliths, but the princess got close in preparation to jump the wall on the following turn. I decided to take my land raider and rhino around the right side of the wall and got hammered by destroyer fire. However, they were unable to stop my advance. This was a critical moment in securing my victory. had he succeeded in popping my rhino, I wouldn't have been able to take out the destroyers on my right flank and they could have done a lot more damage. Lastly, my chosen parked next to the scarabs.

Tour 3Troisième tour, il y a eu beaucoup de dégâts. Mes PMs ont fait une ruée vers les destroyers sur le bord de la table, et ma deuxième unité d'Élus avec les lance-flammes est arrivée. Les Élus des meltas ont viré contres les guerriers Necrons avec l'aide de la Princesse Daemon. Les autres Élus sortaient de leur char et ils ont fait un bon barbecue avec les scarabes. L'affrontement semblait un peu comme la politique militaire des Américains. En rencontrant les membres d'une nouvelle culture, je les détruisais en premier, et comprendrai après.
This turn, the body count was high. My plague marines, now beautifully positioned, made a rush for the destroyers. Also, my second unit of chosen arrived with their flamers. The Melta Chosen went after the warriors that had phased-in the turn previous, with the aid of the Daemon Princess. The Flamer Chosen went after the scarabs, barbecuing the lot. I was applying US military policy for encounters with new cultures: kill first, understand later.

On ne pouvait pas passerTour 4\Turn 4Quatrième tour, j'attaquais le dernier escouade des Destroyers et je l'ai bouffé en close avec ma princesse daemon et mes Élus, mais pas avant que son seigneur ait presque écrasé la belle princesse daemon. C'est vraiment fort ce HQ! Après ça, c'était «phase-out» et «Game Over».
Last turn, I attacked his final squad of destroyers and trashed them in close combat with my chosen and my daemon princess. However his Necron Lord took a nice chunk out of the daemon princess before the game's end. This HQ is really strong! After that is was, "Phase-out" and "Game over".
